Founded in Dallas, Texas in 2019, BASIC CO. was built on a straightforward premise: the clothes you reach for every single day should be the ones crafted with the greatest care.

In an era driven by fast fashion, micro-trends, and disposable garments destined for a landfill after a handful of washes, we take the opposite approach. We design elevated, heavyweight essentials engineered to endure—season after season, wash after wash.

Why We Started

Our story began with a love for clean, comfortable streetwear and a frustration with modern quality. Finding an oversized hoodie that holds its shape, a tee with a collar that doesn’t bacon after two washes, or sweatpants built with substantial fleece often meant paying extreme designer markups.

We set out to build our own line through social discovery, connecting directly with everyday wearers who value structured silhouettes, intentional design, and honest pricing.
